About Us.

My upbringing was far from ordinary, steeped in the world of armor, swordplay, and contests that tested strength and skill. From a tender age, I immersed myself in events that would later become familiar to my Buhurt friends across the globe.
By the time I reached the age of 18, I had eagerly joined the ranks of competitors, fully embracing the challenges and responsibilities that came with it. Event organization, dedicated martial arts training to hone my skills, and a relentless commitment to physical fitness became the pillars of my journey to remain sharp and agile.
As a young and aspiring fighter, my dreams were filled with visions of competing in grand castles across Europe, surrounded by fellow warriors from all corners of the world.
However, life took an unexpected turn, and I found myself taking a break from this world from 2001 to 2012. It was during this time that a dear friend rekindled my passion when he was invited to a Buhurt event in Poland, known as the Battle of the Nations. I was assisting him in preparing his journey.
That pivotal moment marked the beginning of my involvement in the modern Buhurt movement. In 2013, I embarked on a journey to Aigues-Mortes, where I proudly supported the US team as an Armor Smith.
Recognizing the crucial role of marshals in ensuring the safety and fair enforcement of rules, I diligently began filling this position within the US Buhurt community. My dedication to acquiring the necessary equipment and undergoing rigorous training was driven by the understanding that no event, tournament, or fight could function without a well-trained marshal brigade.
My passion and commitment were further validated when I obtained my international certification in Prague in 2015, following an intensive training period as a trainee at the Battle of Nations. This achievement opened doors to incredible opportunities, allowing me to attend every Battle of Nations through 2019 and the prestigious Buhurt League Prime event in Serbia in 2022. I also have been able to support our neighbors in Mexico in 2019 with their Calaveras event in Aguascalientes.
As I look to the future, I am filled with excitement and anticipation for the possibilities that lie ahead. The Buhurt International organization has paved the way for unparalleled opportunities to travel and marshal across the globe.
The journey has been extraordinary, and I eagerly embrace whatever lies ahead, ready to contribute to the growth and evolution of this remarkable sport.
